Created by perfumer Akiko Kamei in 1984, Parfum d’Hermès was reinterpreted in 2000 and rechristened Rouge Hermès. This eau de toilette celebrates one of the colours that has been emblematic of the house since 1934.
OLFACTORY NOTES
With a floral and amber character, Rouge Hermès eau de toilette strikes a sophisticated balance between intense rose notes, generous vanilla and captivating ylang-ylang.
THE OBJECT
The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The back label is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
THE PARFUMS-FONDATEURS COLLECTION
The Parfums-Fondateurs collection draws inspiration from the house’s heritage. Each THE CREATION encapsulates Hermès’ imaginary world in a name, a fragrance and a colour. Over the years, Hermès has pioneered a bold style of perfumery, resulting from encounters with exceptional perfumers.
